CD-R King

If you’re looking for a CD-R King Review, here it mine. We have a love and hate relationship with CD-R King. We love it because it offers a lot of  gadgets and products that are unbelievably cheap in price.  We hate it because sometimes the things we buy there are well, defective. Like the keyboard we bought I think in a few month’s time the letters are already beyond recognition and some of the keys didn’t work anymore so the next time we chose a more expensive one at another store. Lately, S’s USB also died for no apparent reason. I am a fan of their mouse though. The last mouse I had I dropped it so many times but it refused to die. I had to replace it though because finally the cable started to give way and the mouse part got dangerously close to being detached from the cable.

Last weekend, we went again to try our luck at CD-R King. This time we went to their branch at SM Hypermart. S wanted an FM modulator so he can play music inside our car from a USB. At the end of our trip there we ended up buying aside from the FM modulator, a wireless router (P1,380), and a laptop cooling pad (P100). They promised to replace them within seven days if something

goes wrong so we went home happy. Well, at CD-R King you get what you paid for. We used our wireless router for the night but by the next morning the power in the router started fluctuating and then eventually it turned off. Good thing, we were going to church that day so we dropped by at CD-R King SM Megamall branch to have it replaced. They tested it and found that something was indeed wrong and replaced it.

Good thing it malfunctioned early so we were able to replace it early. If it malfunctioned after that but within six months then we can have it repaired through them.

CD-R King FM Modulator

The FM Modulator we have not tested yet because we need to have our car checked by the technician first. and the laptop cooling pad is working perfectly, at least for now.

I also noticed that the branch in SM Megamall has more products compared with the one in Hypermart. Like the FM Modulator they only have three varieties at that time so we were forced to pick one that has no display only to find out that  had we been at Megamall earlier we could have gotten what we wanted.  So if you’re within the area it’s better if you go to the Megamall branch.
