I’ve paid the price for our daily grind with two hurting knees which I still have to recover. On the plus side we’ve been sweating daily and it’s been giving us better sleep and better energy during the day. Hopefully it will also help me get back to my right weight – even when using a strict scale like the balance scale at AffordableScales.com. Here’s hoping this pushes through!

The movie was nothing less than awesome, being a marvel fanboy since I was a kid everything was like a dream come true. Seeing my favorite marvel superheroes come to life and join forces is simply grand! Everything went great, my only qualm was with the so-so story line and the wimpy villain. I was expecting to see some real bad-ass villains and not just a rehash on Thor’s lousy villain – I guess the writers knew it wasn’t really that good which was why they did not show too much of Loki on their teasers!

Loki or no Loki though, the movie is worth every penny and the unexpected humorous twists make watching the movie even more enjoyable. It could have gotten a 6, but I still give it a 5 out of 5.

Since we discovered Pedal and Paddle – Saturday mornings have been very active. We will usually be preparing our sports wear, although we don’t have brabantia ironing boards, we do make sure our outdoor attire is ironed and ready for a day of exercise.

Pedal and Paddle is a pay-to-enter area, but the entrance is really cheap and is easily justified by the clean surrounding and cool rides. My son’s favorite is ofcourse the Go-Kart ride where even I sometimes accompany him. Kids and adults ride big gokarts that are run by a mechanical pedal like an ordinary bicycle. This makes the activity fun and at the same time healthy as you will be sweating yourself up to make the go-kart move.

The area also has a nice boating area where people can ride various boats, swans and water bikes. There are also kiddie rides on the area where you drop coins to operate. Another favorite of my son is a simple train ride located at the center.

There is also a picnic area, a few life size dinosaur displays, and a number of real birds like Macau’s on display. For adults, there isn’t much to do, but for kids – its definitely a fun place. I give it a 5, definitely recommended if you are near the area.

Old school gamers will be disappointed with the games noobish control system – with very easy to use “Simple Special Buttons”. This means you can pull off supers and specials with a button and a direction. The game does not however stop you from using the regular buttons so its not a deal breaker. What I didn’t like though is that you are limited to just 1 punch and 1 kick button combination instead of the usual 4 (light and fierce layout). I was like “bummer”.

The actual game itself is fun, set in various backgrounds that feature things from wrought iron patio furniture to old and familiar KOF characters. Although they are not animated – just seeing the USA team watch from the sidelines makes me a happy camper.

The gameplay is based on the recent KOF XIII, with its HD, cancels and EX systems – which I’m not much of a fan of, but since its KOF, they always have to put in new stuff, regardless if it is excessive or not. What makes the game really worth while for me though is the ability to get cool KOF related images in the gallery as you finish the game and conquer challenges. The challenge and combo training portion is also really cool.

The game is an absolute must have for KOF Fans, and new comers are also welcome with its simplified controls and interface.

His most fearsome move is his “super drop kick” which you can use to play mind games with your opponent, instantly turning your enemy into either defend or attack – which gives you a good chance of anticipating their move. This makes Raiden a big crafty character which can throw off players that are expecting the usual tactics.

His looks are a bit silly, many will never agree to grow their body as big as Raiden’s, even if they can find out more enlarge maxx information used for buffing up. He is a stereo typical wrestling character – although I would have preferred someone like Ramon.

Since every one is busy at the start of summer – it made it really hard to prepare for Easter. With little time to spare for planning and practice, we didn’t think that our Easter would even push through, but thankfully it did! And not only did it push through – it went really well – we got support from unexpected resources – providing sound system, chairs, venue safety and even a cool elevated stage – and we got it all for free.

The elevated stage was a pleasant surprise, realized only within a few days from the event, made the prepared dramas and songs more visible. We heard a lot of good compliments with the sound system we used – we did not have top of the line brands like
alesis products, but they did have a powerful amp and speaker system complete with monitors – resulting in a clear and great sounding songs.

Through God’s grace, the event went way better than how we were expecting it to be, allowing us to plant important seeds in the fertile soil that is our community.

The price is above the ordinary – but it is easily justified by the presentation, texture, taste and over quality of the food they offer. Their food is simply amazing! You get more than what you pay, perfect for family and friendly dining. Aside from their Pancake specialty, we  were served a 4 course meal and we enjoyed every bit of it. Since the restaurant had wi-fi, my wife enjoyed her blogging and research for a good wedding bands for men, as she wanted to replace the current one we have. While me and my son enjoyed eating the nice pizza. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend it – specially if the pizza crust is well done. 5 Stars!

It seems Mr.A.Z. is going for lyrics with deeper meaning instead of the usual straight forward for “93 Million Miles” and it definitely hit “home”. The video adds a dramatic real life angle to the music which were clearly emphasized on the video. The song’s clever word play shines with Jason’s amazing vocal prowess, backed by the track’s calculated arrangement. This is definitely highly recommended! After hearing Shadow Days, I wasn’t really too impressed. The music is as clean and precise as anyone could ever be and the musicality is impeccable as always but it seems that Mayer is no longer writing about meaningful lyrics that everyone can relate to. Instead nowadays, he is writing about his rockstar experiences – I fear that this new album will just be an extended version of his other rockstar song – “Who Says”. I was expecting some eye opening lyrics or at least even nostalgic messages (ala 83) – but judging from the lyrics available online – most of the songs seem to go farther and farther into obscurity. I would make an exception though with the song “Love is a verb”! I definitely think that was well thought and well written!

Having said all that, I guess it can’t be helped since JM is a rockstar in his own right and this is logically where his songs are coming from. And maybe when the album comes out and the songs grow on me, I’ll be able to like them more. Even though I’m not too happy with the song, I still give it a four – just because I’m a silly JM fan.
