As many of you may know by now, a disgruntled cop recently killed a number of tourists. I didn’t get to watch as it unfolded because I was out, but I got home in time for the final encounter. The sad thing about all of this is the current blame game that is going on. It is obvious that our police force and SWAT teams did not do their job well, the same goes with the negotiating team, but I feel that our MEDIA should bear equal guilt and responsibility. They did not even for a second thing about the repercussions of their live broadcast of police movements… And the sad thing is, no one seems to be pointing it out. They played the ratings game and showed the people what everyone wanted to see, even at the cost of the victims innocent lives. The news are filled with reports highlighting the police’s incompetence, when I’m sure the media people know they did something wrong that day – seemingly they point fingers to hide their own shame and guilt. Here is me wishing that some big shot media guy will read this and hopefully admit their mistake and maybe improve the quality of Filipino Media…

Driving during the day can pose many road hazards, what more if you’re driving at night? If you’re a beginner driver you have to be extra cautious when driving at night. Here are some driving safety tips that can help you when driving at night.
1. Your vehicle’s light is very important. Check to see if they’re in perfect condition. Consider investing on hid xenon lights, the brighter and clearer light increases your safety by three times. Your vehicle’s lights are important to help you see in the evening.
2. Always drive defensively. Don’t try and out drive everyone else, specially those that are driving aggresively, just let them be. Follow traffic rules all the more. If everyone else is determined to get ahead of you, then let them, the few minutes saved is not worth getting an accident for.
3. Don’t drink and drive and don’t drive if you are too tired. You might feel OK, but you’ll never know when the alcohol effect starts to take over. Take alternative public transportation or better yet have someone who is not drunk or tired drive your vehicle.
Read MoreIron Man 2 Movie Review
I have posted this review also at my other blog: Dadedidodu.com
Loaded with a box of popcorn, a bunch of fast food takeouts – we raced our way to the cinema. We got there just in time, advertisements featuring new movies are still rolling. I was not too excited about the movie because I was not too much of a fan of the first film. But here is hoping that the second installment would be good, and ofc ourse we wanted to see what the hype was all about. To my disappointment – the movie turned out to be much like how the first one was, full of high grade special effects and visuals, but lacking in the story department. Just like part 1, somebody AGAIN copied Iron Man’s suit and became the villain – there goes my hope for originality. The only real thing that made the movie bearable was the graphics – and the funny antics of Robert Downey Jr. I was also disappointed at the fight scenes… the enemies were bleh. The only good fight scene was between War Machine and Iron Man, the final fight with the antagonist was not even worth mentioning. To the creators of future comic book adaptation movies - PLEASE PLEASE and again PLEASE EXTEND and CRAFT great fight scenes – it should be the heart of any comic book super hero adaptation movie!!! GRRR!!! OK… now that I got that off my chest, I will give my final rating: 4 out of 5. It should be lower – but since Z was happy about the movie, I gave it some bonus points. I’m guessing with Z’s reaction to the movie that we would be present again in the next installment of the film.
Reminder: One thing worth mentioning was Nick Fury’s more prominent role, so word of advice – wait for the end credits roll, you’re in for a small but nice scene.

I was hearing rumors that the much anticipated concert will be canceled if not postponed or moved to October. I didn’t want to believe it, but now – after checking John Mayer’s website, I am convinced that the rumor is right. On the tour page of his website, they removed the Manila schedule for May 16, and instead Manila was moved to the bottom of the page – scheduled for October 1st! This is a sad day for me… specially since we have our VIP tickets already. I was even checking out www.sleepingpillreviews.net because I was having a hard time sleeping with the excitement. But looks like it will not come to pass. I’ll just be contacting Channel V for confirmation and hopefully get my refund as soon as possible. Then, I’ll probably just buy that Martin DX1e guitar that I have been hunting for instead. At least that is a good thing…

Yes – I am part of this club… Now you know my secret – now your lives are in danger. Hehe. This is definitely one of those comedy skits that you should not miss. I’ll stop typing now and just embed the vid.
