Ear drum breaking screams of fans, not even rock concerts here could beat the noise at Jason Mraz recent concert in Manila.

I waited for my excitement to die down before I attempted to write an objective review of Jason Mraz concert in Manila last October. Looking back, we truly enjoyed the concert, fan or no fan, you will simply be amazed at Jason Mraz’s sheer vocal prowess and musical talent. Jason and Toca confidently confronted thousands of screaming fans that filled the gigantic Araneta Colliseum.

Jason and Toca sang their hearts out, they sang all of my favorites including Butterfly and Dynamo of volition from Jason’s latest album. The concert was a major success, save for a few minor qualms. Most of my complaints will fall under technical difficulties or venue related problems.

First complaint is the lousy sound system. There was too much echo and there was not enough power to fill the stadium. Although as a fan, I am familiar with his lyrics, but newbies will probably have a hard time understanding what Jason was singing about. Next complaint is the decision to do an acoustic set at a giant venue like Araneta. Jason should have gotten himself a full band to back him up complete with sax and wind instruments – it would have been much more fun.

Still acoustic sets have that feeling of intimacy which die hard fans probably preferred, sadly these die hard fans only know Jason’s popular songs like You and I both, I’m yours and Lucky. Overall it was a great concert experience and was well worth the dread of traffic and the hard time we had parking our car.

Earlier, it was reported that Apple’s co-founder Steve Jobs has died, and everyone paused to think…

And honestly I was a bit surprised because there was no mention in the news that Steve’s condition was already that bad. Just a few days after the announcement of iPhone 4s, Apple Macintosh again took the world by storm with the news of its leader’s demise.

The peculiar thing is, when I read the news, somehow I felt sad, and the reaction was virtually the same through out my social networking range. Its like everyone paused for a bit to think about this man, some were probably taking care of their ach payments, feeding their kids, driving to work, eating lunch etc… But I am quite sure that most of us dropped what we were doing when we heard the news and spent a bit of time thinking about Steve Jobs, his life contributions and comparing it to our own puny contributions.

Everyone took the time to remember this great achiever’s life. And to me that is already a great honor in itself for all of Steve Jobs accomplishments.

Still what’s done is done and people will move on. The news and the interwebs will be talking about useless things again in just a few days. I just hope and pray that Steve’s family is coping well and that Apple will continue to produce great innovative and quality products.

And I also hope that I learn something from the life of this man that successfully changed the way the world thinks.

Republic Act 9211, is the no smoking policy in open public areas. I’ve seen some MMDA officers enforcing the no smoking law from time to time but based on what I am regularly seeing, the new law is still not being strictly implemented. You can still see people smoking in public areas without regard for the health of innocent people that has no choice but to inhale their second hand smoke.

Now if you smoke in your own private place, you can buy as many local cigars or padron cigars online and there will be no problem. Smoking is your choice, but RA 9211 is aiming to raise awareness about the effects of second hand smoke on other people and the environment.

I give the RA 9211 a 2.5 star for it’s good intentions, but lack of action…

Running – aka – jogging is the new health craze in town – even beating the gyms. Everyone and their mommies run to keep fit. And a lot of advertisers use marathons to lure in unsuspecting marketing preys who just want to stay healthy. With the running craze came running gadgets – from hardware to apps that measure speed, endurance and time, and even simply to accompany a solo runner. So now, instead of just going for pills like apidexin reviews, people tend to mix it with healthy runs and enjoy good old technology while doing so. If you are interested – you can check out the latest shoes with built in compatibility to running apps. Keep healthy!

We’ve received so many Summer Party Invitations that we lost track, and even up to now – where it’s rainy season here, we still get to go to out of town events. At times it gets tiring and we do turn down some events – but it’s still a blessing to be part of all of these relaxing events.

I always kind of dreaded our family Thanksgiving get togethers when I was growing up because I hate turkey. It wasn’t just because of the way it was fixed then either. I’ve tried turkey again over the years because I thought that maybe I would change my mind or something, but it’s stayed the same. I still don’t like turkey.

I thought that maybe I’d just not fix one this year because I really hate fixing a turkey when I don’t even hate it. It really is too much trouble to fix. So I sent an email with my Satellite Star Internet to my family asking if they would mind if I didn’t like turkey.

No one seemed to really object, so I decided that I’m just going to fix a ham. Everyone in my family likes ham and I think that it will be a lot easier to cook than turkey, plus I’ll actually eat waht I have to cook for a change! All of my brothers and sisters are having individual Thanksgiving meals with their families so they’ll have teh opportunity to eat turkey if they want to.

Before you walk down the aisle for your big and grandiose day, there are certainly a lot more things to do. Preparations for the big day will take some months and a part of this is making your friends and family know when your wedding is.

Before you send in the wedding invitations, you have to stick to the custom and send in some save the date cards to those whom you want to invite. This is to ensure that the very special people will not forget your very special day. You can be as unique as you can with your save the date. Some people choose to place their pictures in the cards to make it more personalized. There are various themes, styles and colors to choose from that is why you will never fail to find the best save the date card for you before you tie the knot.

This Saturday, my team and I are going to have a team building activity. Our job is stressful that’s why having a get together like this away from the office is a must to preserve our sanity. My team and I have been together for a couple of months now but we have no time bond with each other. So this Saturday, right after our shift we are going straight to a hot spring resort in Montalban Rizal for that much needed rest and relaxation. We would talk about everything except work related stuff. Who knows, we might even share some hydroxycut reviews to help each other burn the fat that we have accumulated through months of sitting in an office desk. Yes, the sad fact is not only is our job stressful but it’s also making us unhealthy. That’s why for sure we are going to maximize our time swimming in the pool to remove those unwanted fats.

Our outing is still a day away but I’m already excited. We can only do this once in a year so we’re making the most out of it.
