Bohol Beach Club (some call it BBC) is a picturesque beach in Panglao Island Bohol. Some say it is the best beach that Bohol has to offer, and after our trip to Bohol and trying a number of resorts – I will have to agree. There are already a lot of great photos that capture BBC but let me tell you that it is much better felt and seen with your senses.
We got to BBC early in the morning, and the sights were so pleasing to the eyes. There weren’t too many people on our first day there, only a handful of tourists were present, making the beach experience relaxing, peaceful and more gratifying. The trees also offer good shelter for times when the sun got to excited. I’m not sure if they have an airbrush machine for tanning but the sun will definitely get you tan in no time – as it did to us. A lot of the foreigners were sun bathing at the beach, and enjoying other amenities like massage, food and drinks.

There are a lot of hammocks, beds and tables where you can chillout or get a tan. I even set up a portable tent for our kids, but they didn’t even use it for long as they enjoyed playing on the beach or with the sand.

And finally the beach simply looks great. The downside is that the waters are really low during low tide (mornings) and will only go high in the afternoon during high tide. This however is great for families that have kids, my 1 year old Zack was able to play and enjoy the beach. It is recommended that you come prepared and get yourself a pair of aqua shoes so you can walk on some of the rocky, coral areas.
I’d give the resort a 5 star if only for the beach and the view, the food however was not as great which I will review in my next post.
