The Real Housewives of Atlanta on my DVR

Thanks to Jonathon Woods

Right now, The Real Housewives of Atlanta is my favorite thing to record on my DVR. I record it on Sunday nights on my DirecTv satellite from www.DirectStarTV.com. I have all of the current season on my recorder, and I can go back and watch each episode whenever I want. A couple of my friends also enjoy watching the show, and sometimes we watch it together. It’s basically a reality show about six upper middle-class ladies in Atlanta. My favorites are Kandi and Cynthia. Kandi is a former member of the R&B group Xscape. She seems down-to-earth and friendly. Cynthia, my other favorite, is new to the show this season, and she is a fashion-model. I like her mostly for the same reasons that I like Kandi. Both women seem humble and sincere. Phaedra Parks is the other new housewife. She’s an Atlanta lawyer. Phaedra comes across as high-maintenance and pretentious. She’s married to an ex-con named Apollo, and they have an infant son. The show is hilarious. The housewives occasionally have catfights over silly stuff that is usually fueled by gossip and jealousy.

I love my DVR because it allows me to record my favorite shows so that I don’t have to watch them live. I can watch them whenever I want, rather than viewing them at a specific time.
