The Blind Side Review
I didn’t know what to expect when I watched The Blind Side. I was burning with fever but I was dying with boredom. If I knew it was so touching and I would cry I wouldn’t have watched this when I was sick. Nevertheless, it’s a five out of five for me and I recommend you to watch it.
The Blind Side is about the story of Michael Oher, a black homeless teenager who was recruited to play football for a Christian high school. Nobody knew he was homeless and that he had no clothes until Leann Touhly, Sandra Bullock, spotted him on the streets one cold night and found out he was homeless.
Leanne invited Michael home and let him sleep on the couch for the night. One small act of kindness led to another and another until Michael became part of the affluent but down to earth Touhly family and became a successful professional football player in his own right.
The Blind Side was based on a true story and it’s really a heartwarming one. The kindness that the Touhly family showed to one homeless teenager who had a bleak future made me cry not once but a lot of times. Michael Oher, in turn, reciprocated their love and became successful because of their guidance.
