It seems that Indiana Jones 5 is in the works that is from producer Frank Marshall. It was also being reported at Empire Magazine and Ain’t It Cool News.
Shia LaBeouf also hinted that Indiana Jones 5 is being planned which was then confirmed by Frank Marshall. Shia played Mutt Williams in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Marshall was quoted by Empire Magazine as saying, “It’s really about the script. Once we see that, we’ll see. We’re not going to wait another 20 years. We’d all love to make another one. I’m anxious to hear the idea!”
It all depends on the script as it has to have the seal of approval of Director Steven Spielberg, producer George Lucas, Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford . It took several years and the brainstorming of several big time screenwriters before the screenplay David Koepp got the go ahead.
According to Marshall Spielberg, Lucas and Ford are enthusiastic with Indiana Jones 5 once they have a script they like. Ford is already 65 so there might be a twist in the next installment. Says Spielberg, “I have an idea to make Shia [LaBeouf] the lead character next time and have Harrison come back like Sean Connery did in the last movie. I can see it working out.” Ford is open to the idea saying, “Till they tell me otherwise, I will continue to be Indiana Jones.”
I’m can’t wait to see the next installment of the series as I know it’s going to be a superb action-filled movie like the previous ones.
